Thos. McBride Died Tuesday
Thomas McBride, 73, a resident of Emmetsburg for many years, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thos. Goeders, in this city Tuesday at 10:55 a.m. Funeral services will be held either Thursday or Saturday of this week, pending arrival of relatives. Services will be conducted in the Assumption church with the pastor, Very Rev. Wm. F. Mason officiating. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery south of this city. The Foy Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McBride had been failing in health for some time. For several months he was unable to leave his home.
Mr. McBride was born in Massachusetts February 9, 1869. He is survived by one daughter and three sons. The daughter is Mrs. Thomas Goeders of this city. The sons are John McBride , Klamath Falls, Oregon; George McBride, Camp Forrest, Tenn.; and Clyde McBride, Avon Park, Fla. The deceased is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Patrick McBride, Mrs. Anna Goddard, Mrs. Mary Steil and Miss Julia McBride, all of Emmetsburg and Mrs. Ella Goddard of Manville, Ill.
