Martin Patterson, better known to his friends as Pat, passed away April 7, 1997. He was born in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. He had lived in Tacoma for 49 years and was owner of a barber shop in downtown Tacoma for over 41 years. Pat was a avid golfer who practically lived a the Elks Allenmore Golf Course. He was a member of the Washington State Golf Assn. and the Tacoma Elks. He was baptized in the Methodist church.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Gloria; brothers, Lavern (Ruth) Patterson, Donald (Honey) Patterson, both of North Dakota; along with Charles (Patty) Patterson of Nebraska; brother in law Ed (Alma) Cutler; and sister in law Barbara (Gene) Rowan; and many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial services are at 12 noon on Sat. April 12, 1997 in Mt. View Valley Chapel. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
