Mrs. R. Lee of GF Dies
Mrs. Raymond Lee, 56, a former resident of Crookston, Minnesota died Thursday at a Grand Forks, North Dakota hospital.
The former Alice Jane Patterson was born July 21, 1914 at Forest River, North Dakota. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Joseph Patterson. She was married to Raymond B. Lee on Aug. 30, 1930 at Crookston, Minnesota. He died March 3, 1971. The couple had lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota since 1957.
Survivors include eight sons, Terry, Charles, Earl, Allen, all of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Donald of East Grand Forks, Lavern of Minneapolis, Minnesota, William of Walker, Minnesota, Clifford of Richmond, Virgina; and two daughters, Mrs. David (Margaret) Stevens of Otumwa, Iowa and Mrs. Jesse (Mary Jane) Laughery of Crookston, Minnesota.
Also surviving are 29 grandchildren; six brothers, Donald Patterson of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, Robert, Charles, Joseph, all of Fullerton, California, Martin of Tacoma, Washington and Lavern of Leeds, North Dakota.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3 pm at the Sharon Lutheran Chruch of Grand Forks, North Dakota with the Rev. Harold Vold officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston, Minnesota.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening at the Stennes-Wegner Funeral Home of East Grand Forks and at the church Monday one hour before services.
