Harold B. Hicks, 80, of 33 Greenbush St., Cortland, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1981 at his home. He was born Feb. 10, 1901 in Homer, the son of Frederick and Ella Chapman Hicks. An area resident all his life, Mr. Hicks was a self-employed carpenter and mason. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Robert {Katherine} Aldrich and Mrs. Lucy Fitzgerald, both of Homer; a friend, Mrs. Rose Casey of Cortland, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services wil be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Briggs Memorial Home, Homer, with Rev. Earl W. Keirstead of the Homer Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
