DIES SATURDAY
HOMER - Mrs. Myrtle Hicks Tefft, 52, of Cortland, died Saturday in Cortland Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
She was born March 20, 1912 in Homer, the daughter of Fred and Ella Chapman Hicks.
Surviving are her husband, Ivan Tefft, of Cortland; a brother, Harold B. Hicks; three sisters, Mrs. Fern Strauf, Mrs. Katherine Aldrich and Mrs. Lucy Fitzgerald and several nieces and nephews, all of Homer.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Briggs Brothers Memorial Home, the Rev. Boyd A. Little, pastor emeritus of the Homer Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
