Pneumonia Claims One
Pneumonia which followed an attack of scarlet fever caused the death Thursday evening of Mrs. John Schermetzler, nee Emma Kasten, at her home on 416 N. Sixth street. Deceased was 27 years of age, having been born in Sheboygan.
She is survived by her husband and one son, four brothers, Edward and Fred, Manitowoc, Frank Kasten, Sheboygan, Bruno Kasten, Meeme and four sisters, Mrs. (Agnes) Reinhold Detjen, Mrs. Mary Kadow, Manitowoc, Clara, Newton and Lydia, Neenah.
The funeral was held Saturday morning from the Boniface church, Manitowoc.

Besides her husband and one child, she is survived by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kasten of Newton and also four sisters and four brothers.
The funeral was held Saturday morning from St. Boniface’s Church. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
