Frank Kasten, Brother of Sheriff, Dies
Frank Kasten, brother of Sheriff Edward Kasten, died at the family home at Sheboygan Falls at 1 o'clock this afternoon after a short illness. Sheriff Kasten was called of the Falls this morning by a report of the critical condition of his brother and was with him when the end came. No funeral arrangements had been completed but it is probable the body will be returned here for burial.
Mr. Kasten was forty-two years old and was born in Newton. He was a member of the Arien and Urban band here years ago but for a number of years now he had made his home at the Falls and was employed at Kohler. He was married thirteen years ago. He is survived by his widow, one son, David, his father, Henry, of Newton, three brothers, Edward, Fred and Bruno Kasten, all of this city and four sisters, Mrs.Bauer, Mrs. Reinhold Detjen, Mrs. John Goetz and Mrs. Anton Robert, all all of this city.
