Mrs. Cecelia Scholten, 72, of 1126 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, Feb. 16, at Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Jens Funeral Home, and 10 a.m.at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Charles Mocco will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Scholten, nee Cecelia Rohrer, was born Aug, 20, 1908, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Ella Mrotek Rorhrer. She attended schools at Manitowoc and was employed as a secretary at Mirro Corporation. She was married to Fred Scholten, May 24, 1941, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1952. Mrs. Scholten was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and St. Ann Christian Altar Society.
Survivors include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Joseph Rohrer, Francis and Tillie Rohrer and Paul and Mary Rohrer all of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and George Hauser of Milwaukee; cousins, niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Wednesday afternoon. Deacon William Klein will conduct a wake service 7:30 o’clock.
