(1902 - 1959)

Alois R. Rohrer, 57, of 1125 S. 26th St., veteran pattern maker, died at the home Wednesday morning of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Rohrer was born at Manitowoc Jan. 21, 1902, son of the late William and Ella Mrotek Rohrer. He married Clara Buretta Sept. 20, 1925. A pattern maker by trade, he had been employed by Manitowoc Pattern Shop. Mr. Rohrer was a member of the Manitowoc Aerie of Eagles.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Leonard O’Neil of Manitowoc; a son, Richard of Manitowoc; three brothers, Francis, Joseph and Paul of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. George Hauser of Milwaukee and Miss Marcella Rohrer and Mrs. Celia Scholten of Manitowoc; and three grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at ???.
