DIES AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS
Aloysius Becker, 32, Grocery Owner Is Pneumonia Victim


Aloysius Becker, 32, owner and manager of the John Becker and Sons grocery store at 20th and Hamilton streets, died this morning at 8 o'clock at the Holy Family hospital, where he had been a patient for a week. Death was due to pneumonia.

Funeral services will be held from the home, 2013 Hamilton street, Wednesday morning at 8:30 and from the St. Mary's Catholic church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.

Wife Survives
Mr. Becker was born in Manitowoc March 9, 1904, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Becker. He lived here all of his life. On Sept. 28, 1928 he was married to Eleanore Gretz, who survives him. He was a member of the St. Mary's Holy Name Society, the St. Mary's Young Men's Club and the St. Stanislaus Kostka Society.

Survivors include the widow, his parents; two daughters, Mary Ann and Jo Ann; two brothers, Anton and Erwin, both of this city; eight sisters, Mrs. Stanley Woytal, Mrs. Frank Tadych, Mrs. Walter Osieczanek, Mrs. Ray Denk, Mrs. Dorothy Borucki, Mrs. John Zagrodnik, Mrs. Felix Frozena and Miss Helen Becker, all of this city.

The body will be removed to the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home.
