Mrs. John S. Zagrodnik, 60, of 2009 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died
Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Leschke-Bergner
Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Zagrodnik, nee Martha Becker, was born May 7, 1910, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late John and Mary Ziarnik Becker. She was married to
John S. Zagrodnik May 20, 1930, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Zagrodnik was a
member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary Church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons (private), a daughter (private);
two brothers, Anton and Ervin of Manitowoc; six sisters, Mrs. Valeria
Tadych, Mrs. Walter (Clara) Osieczanek, Mrs. Marie Denk, Mrs. Felix
(Frances) Frozena, Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Erickson and Mrs. Leon (Helen)
Novak of Manitowoc, and five grandchildren. A brother and a sister
preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home at 4 p.m. Tuesday where a Rosary
will be recited at 4:15 p.m. by the Rosary and Altar Society of the
church. A second rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. by the congregation.
