TALLULAH — Eleen Blanchard Windham died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 92.

Born in Crowville, La., Mrs. Windham lived in Georgetown, S.C., before returning to Madison Parish in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church where she was a teacher of the Faithful Workers Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Windham; her parents, Charles and Mattie Blanchard; three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by a son, William A. Windham of Vicksburg; three brothers, Jack Blanchard of Vicksburg, Marion Blanchard of Jennings, La., and John Blanchard of Mansfield, La.; two sisters, Mary Nettles of Tallulah and Eva Beckett of Norman, Okla.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Revs. John W. Rushing and Fred Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Delhi Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 Wednesday night at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bob Goza, Jeb Blanchard, James Blanchard, Louis B. "Bubba" Nettles, Mac Blanchard and Don Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Tom Weeks, Rowdy Nosser and Bill Querrey.
