A daughter of James and Bertha (Boyer) Blystone, she was born April 18, 1919, in Elderton.
Mrs. Reckhart was a member of the Church of Christ, Indiana, and had lived in Butler County before moving to Indiana in 1972. She was first married to Merle Carnahan.
Surviving are her husband, Darold R. Reckhart, Sr.; six sons: James Carnahan, Indiana; Dan Carnahan, Ernest; Benny Reckhart, Indiana; Darold Reckhart, Jr., Zelienople; Larry Reckhart, Sarver; Ronald Reckhart, Natrona Heights; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruby) Davis, Marion Center RD 1; Mrs. Richard (Carolyn) Lewis, Indiana; eight grandchildren; six brothers: Emmet, Leechburg RD 4; James, Jr., Shelocta RD 1; Lawrence, Canton, Ohio; Homer, Valencia; Everett, Canton, Ohio; Lloyd, Kittanning RD 1' six sisters: Mrs. Ray (Leila) Smeltzer, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Wilbur (Laura) Donaldson, Clymer; Mrs. Harriet Sheasley, Shelocta, RD 1; Mrs. Mildred Boyer, Rural Valley RD 1; Mrs. Margaret Spindler, Grove City; Mrs. Frank (Marie) Elioo, Clermont, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Arthur.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Robinson-Lytle's, Indiana, where services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Ray D. Beggs will officiate with interment in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
