Rhoda Leila "Lee" (Blystone) Smeltzer, of Plum, 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, June 15, 2010. She was born Sept. 8, 1923, in Elderton, daughter of the late James O. Sr. and Bertha (Boyer) Blystone. Leila was very involved in serving God through her church. While her children were growing up, she taught Sunday school to first, second and third graders for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond D. Smeltzer Sr., and 12 brothers and sisters. Leila is survived by four children, Sylvia J. Petrus, Raymond D. (Cindy) Smeltzer Jr., Bonnie L. Giran and Wesley C. (Elizabeth "BJ") Smeltzer; seven grandsons, Steven, Paul (Laura), Kenneth (Laura), John, Charles, Robert and Alex; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, James O. Blystone Jr. Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
