Minnie F Nettles was the thirteenth and last child born to Christopher Columbus Nettles and Mary Frances Todd she was born on March 19, 1876 in Elizabeth City County, Virginia. Minnie was married to Clement Jay Robbins on April 10, 1895 by Reverend A. B. Woodfin in Elizabeth City County, Virginia. Clement and Minnie made their home in Hampton, Virginia they had two children Clement Jay Jr. and Thelma A Robbins.Census records recorded on Jun 15, 1900 state that Minnie was the mother of one child and one was living, census records recorded on May 03, 1910 state that Minnie was the mother of two children and two were living. Minnie lived to be One Hundred and Eight years old that is something no other known member of the Nettles family has done. She died on September 19, 1984 in the Mizpah Nursing Home, at Locust Hill, in Mathews County, Virginia.
