Winston J. Fillmore passed away peacefully from causes incident to age on November 8, 2013.

He was born in Richfield, Utah on August 24, 1914, the son of Angus and Belle Fillmore.

Dad met Kathryn Judd at Utah State University and they were married in 1940, a marriage lasting seventy years. Mom passed away in 2010.

Dad graduated from Utah State and continued his studies at Oregon State University before moving to Ogden for his lifelong career at Cream O'Weber Dairy.

Dad was the last survivor of his siblings. He is survived by his children, Jeffery (Judy), Mary Anne, Peter (Susan), and Robert (Julie); eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Active in many community organizations, Dad particularly enjoyed his time with Rotary International, Exchange Club, Weber Club in Ogden, Alta Club, Boy Scouts, Ogden Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors of Commercial Security Bank (KeyBank), Utah Manufacturers Association, the Ogden Golf and Country Club, and supporting and mentoring many. During his lifetime, Dad loved tending to his gardens of vegetables and flowers and enjoyed the beautiful bouquets created by Mom.

After retirement, dad and mom returned to the University of Utah for many years of classes and new friendships with the professors. Dad was a voracious reader and reveled in learning, history, looking forward, and always wanted to know everyone's opinion on the latest current events. During the retirement years, Dad so enjoyed his great friends in the Dirty Shirts and spending time with his friend Dr. Vin Rees.

The family wishes to acknowledge dad's friends and staff at Parklane.

The family will hold a private graveside service and have a celebration of Dad's life at a later date.
