The service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church, 3920 East Prospect Road, York. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with military rites by the Donald E. Henise Memorial Post 35 Veterans of the Vietnam War. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. There will be no viewing. The Burg Funeral Home Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fregm was born Sept. 11, 1943. He was the son of Flo L. (Snell) and Victor R. Fregm Sr. of Red Lion.
He was a machine operator at Caterpillar, retiring in 1996 after 30 years of service. He was a Notary Public for 16 years and had an income tax preparation service for 19 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving two Good Conduct Medals, an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and a Vietnam Forces Expeditionary Medal. He attended Grace Baptist Church. He was a life member of Laurel Fire Company and its auxiliary, and a member of Vietnam War Post 35, York County Marine Corps League First Capital, Collinsville Fish and Game, American Association of Retired Persons and York County Radiological Response Team. He was emergency management coordinator for Windsor Borough from 1989 to 1996.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Gary L. Auker.
