He was born in Monroe County December 28, 1900 to W. A. and Amy Moak McGee and moved to Ottumwa in 1923. He was a World War II Navy Construction Batallion veteran. He was a member and elder of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He married Dorothy Hiatt August 10, 1921. He is survived by his wife, son of Washington DC, daughter of St John’s, AZ, two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and one brother Arthur of La Plata, MO. Services pending at Jay Funeral Home.
