Opal Kruthaupt, age 86, of Metamora, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at her residence.
She was born July 13, 1921 in Kentucky the daughter of the late Andrew J. & Lola (Thomas) Banks. On December 24, 1942 she was united in marriage to Ambrose J. Kruthaupt, and he preceded her in death on May 7, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Kruthaupt of Metamora, Indiana and Jack Kruthaupt of Metamora; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph & Claude Banks of Brookville, Indiana and Vernon Banks of Milford, Ohio.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Detta Kruthaupt and a brother, Elmer Banks.
