Leona Belle Blystone Airgood, 82, Dixonville, formerly of Rochester Mills RD 1, died July 15, 1998, at her residence.
The daughter of Lisle and Mary Ada VanHorn Blystone, she was born Dec. 30, 1915 in Marion Center.
Mrs. Airgood lived most of her life in the Marion Center/Rochester Mills area where she attended the First United Methodist Church of Marion Center. She was a member of the WCTU, secretary of the adult Bible class and volunteer for the baby clinic at the church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Brenda) Dilts, Dixonville; four grandchildren; two brothers, George Blystone, Marion Center, and Robert Blystone, Blairsville; four sisters: Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Airgood and Mrs. Leroy (Lula) Harmon, both of Indiana; Mrs. Thelma Starry and Mrs. Ada Belle Donahue, both of Erie, and two special people: Paul and Roger Blystone, Rochester Mills, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clair Samuel Airgood, who died in 1987; an infant son; a brother, James, and a sister, Madeline Wolfgang.
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Lytle's, where funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday with the Pastor Calvin D. Duvall officiating. Interment will be made in Marion Center Memorial Cemetery.
