Thelma Blystone Starry, age 88, of Erie, passed away on Sat., June 30, 2012 at St. Vincent Health Center.
She was born in Meeco, Indiana County, Pa. a daughter of the late Edgar Carlisle and Mary Ada Van Horn Blystone.
Thelma came from a large family of 14 borthers and sisters. She was homemaker all her life andenjoyed sewing and baking. She worked at K-Mart in Erie for 33 yrs. She loved going to the beaches of Presque Isle. She had the ability to befriend anyone with her loving personality. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Roy E. Starry, a great-grandson Jesse O. Starry, and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son Benjamin C. Starry and his wife Joyce of Erie, two grandchildren, Gregory S. Starry and his wife Kimberly of Somerset, Kentucky, Cheryl A. Starry Bifulco,and her husband Anthony, seven great-grandchildren, Haley, Kahlan, Iris and Tessa Jo Starry; Jacob, Tiffany and Carina Bifulco. Also many nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Burton Funeral Home at 602 West 10th Street.
Burial at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
