Wilson S. "Boots" Linebaugh, 86, died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at his residence. He was born February 13, 1917 in East Berlin, son of the late Amos and Lucy (Stine) Linebaugh. He was a farmer and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Abbottstown.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth C. Linebaugh; sons, Jimmie and Bob Linebaugh; daughter, Becky S. Young; brothers, Ralph, Earl, Merle and Glenn Linebaugh; sisters, Dorothy Sterner, Sadie Wilt, Ruth Krout and Ann Bankert; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Scott A. Linebaugh.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 5th at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Water St., Abbottstown, with Rev. Mark Werner officiating. Cremation arrangements by the Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 East Water Street, Abbottstown, PA 17301.
