Ann Marie Simmons, 87, of Owensboro, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Carmel Home. She was born July 19, 1923 to the late Charles & Georgia Mattingly Cecil in Daviess County. She was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral Catholic Church, and enjoyed played cards and board games. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Simmons in 1993; a daughter, Marilyn Simmons; twin great-granddaughters, Addison & Kathryn Simmons; two brothers, Bernard Cecil and Bobby Cecil; a sister, Sr. George Ann Cecil; and a son-in-law, Gary Kuntson. Services where held at St. Stephen Cathedral Catholic Church with burial in St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.
