Angelo Tucci , 76, of 113 Becker St., died Thursday at his home after a long illness.
A native of Bonsborough, Pa., Mr. Tucci lived in Syracuse more than 50 years. He was a restaurateur and chef in Syracuse , Liverpool and Mexico. Mr. Tucci also was the former owner and operator of Beck's Hotel in Mexico.
Mr. Tucci was a communicant of St. Peter's Church. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, Mr. Tucci was a member of the Eastwood Post, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, the former Jennie ; a daughter, Jeannette Zeiler of Baldwinsville; a son, Edward of East Syracuse ; three sisters, Josephine Bongo of North Syracuse , Lucy Busco of Eastwood and Helen Barnaba of Syracuse ; four brothers, Leonard of Syracuse , Art of Liverpool, Cree of Cicero and John of Winston-Salem, N.C.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Saturday at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
