Leonard S. Tucci , 80, of 234 Grumbach Ave., Syracuse , died Tuesday in the Hill Haven Extended Care Facility.
A life resident of Syracuse , he was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church.
He was the founder of L.S. Tucci Wholesale Jobbers Inc. and retired in 1973. He was a member of the Amicitia Club.
Mr. Tucci was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Molly DeSantis; a son, Leonard J. of Syracuse ; a daughter, Dolores Spadafora of Syracuse ; three brothers, Arthur of Liverpool, Cree of Bridgeport and John of Virginia; three sisters, Josephine Bongo, Lucille Bosco and Helen Barnaba all of Syracuse ; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei Church, where a mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Mary's Cemetery.
