SPARTA -- Funeral services for Evelyn Dean Stone Fleaher, 67, of Sparta, was held at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 3, 2006 at Hunter Funeral Home. Burial was in Peeled Chestnut Cemetery.
Mrs. Fleaher died Jan. 31, 2006, in White County Hospital.
She was born Sept. 27, 1938, in White County to the late Dennis T. and Daisy Steele Stone.
Mrs. Fleaher was retired from the engineering department at Tennessee Tech University.
Her family includes a stepson, Michael Fleaher of Texas; a granddaughter, Caitie Fleaher; a niece, Frances Hardin Argo of Baxter; two nephews, Wesley Garner of Lubbock, Texas, and Michael Kirk Hardin of Pollok, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Bonita Stone of Maryville and Charles and Elizabeth Stone of Cookeville; three sisters, Dixie Phifer of Sparta, Sandra Lewis of Sparta and Paula Tompkins of Sparta.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward William (Carl) Fleaher, and a brother, Bobby Stone.
The Rev. Harvey Neufeldt will officiate the services.
