STATESVILLE, June 10. - Mrs. Lucille Godfrey Parker, 28, died yesterday in a Brevard hospital. Her infant daughter died a few minutes later. Funeral for mother and child will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Pisgah Methodist Church near Hiddenite, of which Mrs. Parker was a member. The bodies will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Mrs. Parker was the former Gladys Lucille Godfrey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Godfrey of Route 2, Hiddenite, who survive.
Also surviving are her husband, Robert Lee Parker; five children, Gene, Kenneth, Diana, Judy, and Marie; five sisters. and three brothers.
