BISHOP, Gilbert Age 90 of South Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Saturday morning, January 10, 2015 at Lebanon Country Manor. Born January 6, 1925 in Owsley County, Kentucky, Gilbert was the son of Grant and Bradie (Couch) Bishop and was a loving husband, father and brother. Gilbert served his country proudly in the U.S. Army,was a retired assembly line worker from the General Motors Company with 32 years of service and enjoyed working on cars, woring in his garden, fishing, reading and building things. Preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Geneva Bishop, brothers Winton and Alfred Bishop and sisters Audrey Sanlin and Pinie Baker; Gilbert leaves behind his loving children Debra Lee (Ken) Malicote of Lebanon, Ohio and Velma Bishop of South Lebanon, Ohio; brother Clinton Bishop of Clay County, Kentucky and sister Daisey (Clayton) Colwell of Dayton, Ohio. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00am at the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio with Rev Dr. Stuart Snow officiating. www.stinekilburnfuneralhome.com
