Geraldine Barley Hurt age 86 a homemaker of Gallion, AL, died January 26, 2015 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. She was born July 10, 1928 in Linden, AL. She was a resident of Marengo Nursing Home and a member of the Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Frank (Barbara) Hurt, and Gerald (Jerri) Hurt of Gallion, AL; daughter, Carol (George) Norris of Jefferson, AL; four grandchildren, Darryl (Angie) Hurt of Gallion, AL; Angela (Scott) Biggs, Jason (Amber) Hurt, and Amy (Jim) Parr of Demopolis, AL; six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric F. Hurt, her parents, Val and Grace Barley, brother, Kenneth Barley, and sister, Bettie Lou Huggins.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Linden Memorial Park on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Warren Huggins officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Parkinson's Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
