She was born in Bradfordton, the daughter of William and Maggie Catherwood Thoman.
A retired registered nurse, Mrs. Heyen was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Heyen was preceded in death by two brothers, George and John Thoman.
She married Henry Heyen in 1944.
Surviving are her husband, Henry T.; one daughter, Jane Blackwell of Springfield; one brother, Joe Thoman of Springfield; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bisch Memorial Home, with the Rev. Thomas Radtke officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
