Mr. Blair was deputy coroner of Fayette county for 38 years and had served for a number of years on the Perry Township School Board. At the time of his death he was the oldest funeral director in Fayette County.
Surviving are his wife, Luvada; one daughter, Rena Blair Lowther, Perryopolis; two sons, Russell J. and Herman W., both of Perryopolis and three grandchildren.
He was a life-long member of the Brownsville Lodge No. 50, I. O. O. F., member and past president of the Southwestern Funeral Directors Association; president of Mt. Washington Cemetery Association; member of Curfew Grange No. 1052.
Friends are being received at the Blair Funeral Home until noon Wednesday.
Burial will be in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
