Mrs. Paul (Edna) Denk, 70, of 112 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Saturday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Fuenral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Denk, nee Edna Lorraine Ruether, was born March 6, 1909, in Mishicot, daughter of the late John and Louise Becker Ruether. She was married to Paul F. Denk Oct. 23, 1934, in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and LaVerne Denk of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and Robert Kolar of Manitowoc, and Dolores and Anton Krepline of Route 1, Valdes; a brother, John Ruether of Two Rivers; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Sporer of Two Rivers, Mr. Louis (Lillian) Uhlers of Manitowoc, Mrs. Richard (Hilda) Denk of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ervin (Ella) Peterson of Route 2, Two Rivers; 12 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Sunday afternoon where a prayer service will be held at 7 o’clock.
