Mrs. Richard (Hilda) Denk, 75 of 1128 S. 19th Street, Manitowoc, died early Sunday morning, September 27, 1987 at St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Prusakowski O.F.M. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Denk, nee Hilda Elizabeth Ruether, was born July 30, 1912 at Mishicot, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Louise Becker Ruether. She resided in Manitowoc most of her life. She married Richard J. Denk on November 24, 1938 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, Richard J.; a brother, John Ruether of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Spoerer of Two rivers, Mrs.Louis (Lillian) Uhler of Manitowoc and Mrs. Ervin (Ella) Peterson of Two Rivers and nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 pm to 9 pm this Monday. Prayer service will be held at 7 pm this evening led by Father Tom.
