FRANK MAILAND, JR., (d. 1959)

Frank Mailand Jr., 58, of Main and Bruce Street (Manitowoc Rapids)
died early Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc,
where he had been brought a short time before after a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Clement Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Mailand was born Jan. 26, 1901, in the Town of Manitowoc
Rapids on the homestead farm of his parents, the late Frank and Mary Stauber Mailand Sr. A lifelong resident of this county, he married the former Mabel Margaret Van Lishout June 21, 1927, and was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding, Inc., from 1919 until illness prevented him from working in 1946. He was a member of the
Boilermakers Local 443.
Surviving are his wife; brother, Joseph of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; half-brother, Raymond Mailand of Madison; two half-sisters, Mrs. Robert Brey of Manitowoc and Mrs. Robert Fessler of Rt. 4, Manitowoc. A sister, Mrs. Harry Wetcokamp, preceded him in death in 1953.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home where
the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
