Mrs. A.L. Mack, 81 years old, died yesterday at her home 5 miles north of Clinton after being confined to bed for the last two weeks after being stricken with apoplexy. She is survived by the husband, 3 sons; Eschol, Roy and Forest; and 4 daughters; Miss Glenn Mack, Mrs. A.W. French, Mrs. S.B. Miller, and Mrs. H.B. Shields.
Mrs. Mack was born and reared in the Helt's Prairie neighborhood and had lived here all her life with the exception of 5 years spent in Newport. Before her marriage she was Isabel White. She was the daughter of Enoch and Lydia Hollandbeck White. She and her husband celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last October 21. Mr. Mack was 82 and his wife was 80 at the time of the celebration.
