A.H. Beene, a pioneer citizen of Comanche County, died at the home of his son, Tom Beene, eight miles northwest of Comanche. The burial took place at Taylor's Chapel. Mr. Beene was one of the well-known and honored citizens of Comanche County, he and his family having been numbered among the best people of this county for many years.
