Wenzel A. Ziarnik, 77, lifelong Manitowoc resident of 1134 S. 20th St., died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. He had been ill six months.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Ziarnik was born May 29, 1883, son of the late Michael and Veronica Mella Ziarnik. He married Mary Nitka at Manitowoc Nov. 9, 1909. She died June 29, 1958. Beofre his retirement five years ago he had been employed by Mirro Aluminum Co.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jacob Armbruster, a son Chester, a sister Mrs. Michael Jokorski, and four grandchildren of Manitowoc. Three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
