Burns Are Fatal to Frances Rickman
Mrs. Frances Rickman. 84, of Crescent, Iowa, died Thursday in local hospital from burns. On Monday, Mrs. Rickman was burned about the face, arms, chest, and left leg when her dress caught fire as she filled a cook stove with wood.
Born at Avoca, Mrs. Rickman spent 15 years in California before returning to live with her son. A. A. Mowery, near Crescent. She belonged to Latter Day Saints Church there.
Survivors are: four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Banta of Oto; Mrs. Rose Nichols of Tuolumne, Calif.; Mrs. Daisy Flays in California; and Miss Stella Johnson in North Dakota; three sons, A.A. Mowery of Crescent; Bill Millis of Avoca; and Ira E. Mowery in California; 17 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Meyer funeral home is in charge.
