Nancy Elizabeth "Nannie" (Davenport) Richardson was born on August 15, 1867 in Tennessee, the daughter of Martin Samuel "Martie" Davenport (1844–1915) and his wife Sarah E "Sallie" (Green) Davenport (1845–1917).

She was married about 1881 as the 2nd wife of Isaac Wiser Richardson (1858–1935), and he was the son of Samuel Gillespie Richardson (1822–1890) and his wife Martha S (Cardwell) Richardson (1834–1866).

Nannie was 64 years old and married when she died on August 13, 1931 in Nashville of a cerebral hemorrhage1. Burial was the next day in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
