Comer Mac Richardson was born on December 25, 1904 in Jackson County, Tennessee, the son of Isaac Wiser Richardson (1858–1935) and Nancy Elizabeth "Nannie" (Davenport) Richardson (1866–1931).

He was married about 1927 to Delera "Virgie" Conwell (1907–1999), and she was the daughter of Emmett Roy ) Conwell (1872–1973) and his 1st wife Viola Virginia "Ola" (Doyle) Conwell (1875–1937).

Self-employed and living at 1300 McGavock Pike in rural Nashville, Comer was 58 years old and married when he had a heart attack and died at Miller Hospital on April 16, 1963.

Survivors included his wife Virgie, daughter Mrs Woody Fowler, son Russell E Richardson of Donelson, Tennessee, sisters Mrs Clio Phillips, Mrs Ovie Forkum, Mrs Emma McCoin, Mrs Annie Dixon, Mrs Ephie Lundy, Mrs William Blaydes, all in Nashville and Mrs Floy Mickman of Cleveland, Ohio, brothers Estel Richardson, Charles E Richardson and Leander Richardson and five grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held on April 18th at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home, and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Madison {city, not county}.
