B. Louise Buchholz, 81, of Ellison Bay, passed away December 12, 2015.
She was born August 2, 1934 in Wann OK to Arthur and Frieda Bachmann and grew up in rural Coffeyville Kansas. Louise graduated from Coffeyville Community College and worked as a secretary for Phillips Petroleum Co., Bartlesville, Oklahoma, transferring to Denver, CO. where she met her loving husband of 56 years.

Don was stationed at the Air Force Academy in Denver when they met at a singles social group at Grace Lutheran Church. They married April 4, 1959 in Coffeyville, Kansas.

They moved to Door County at Christmas time in 1975 where they were resident managers for The Clearing, retiring in 1999.

She is survived by her husband Donald Buchholz and their children Brian Buchholz, Ellison Bay, Kathy (Mike) Swanson, Ellison Bay and Bruce (Libby) Buchholz, Eau Claire, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one brother Leonard Bachmann, Coffeyville KS. She was proceeded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Friends may gather at Shepherd of the Bay Lutheran Church, Ellison Bay, Friday, December 18, 2015 from 10 A.M. until the services at 11 A.M., followed by a luncheon.
