Walter Theodore Bachman, 80 of Miami, Ok passed into eternal rest at, 9:30 a.m. , Sunday June 21, 2009.
He was born January 7, 1929 in Wann, Ok. Walter graduated from field Kinley High School in Coffeyville, Ks in 1947.
On July 25, 1954 he married Norma L. Gallaugher in the St. Pul Lutheran Church, where he was a member, ushser and Sunday school teacher, in Coffeyville, Ks.
Mr. Bachman entered Osborne Care and Rehab Nursing Home Sept. 1, 2003 where he resided until his death.
Survivors include his beloved wife Norma L. Bachman of Miami, Ok, Loving father of two sons, Glen Allen Bachman and wife Glenda of Miami, Ok, Ralph Edward Bachman and wife Gayle of Coffeyville, Ks. Three grandchildren and four great – grand children, one brother, Leonard Bachman, Coffeyville, Ks and two sisters Lorna Prange of Bartlesville, OK and Louise Buchholz, of Ellison Bay, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Bachman and Frieda Meyer Bachman of Farrar, Missouri and four brothers, Arnold Bachman, Eldon Bachman, Vernon Bachman and Harold Bachman.
