Mr. Bachman was born Sept. 13, 1924, to Arthur and Freda (Meyer) Bachman in Wann, Okla. He graduated from Kansas University and retired from Phillips Petroleun accounting department. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He married Jane Wells on Oct. 1, 1955, in Bartlesville.
Survivors include: his wife, Jane, of the home; two sisters, Lorna Prange of Bartlesville, and Louise Buchholz and husband Don of Alice Bay, Wis.; four brothers, Arnold and Leonard Bachman of Coffeyville, Kan., Walter Bachman of Independence, Ka., and Harold Bachman of Riverside, Calif.; a brother-in-law, Willard Wells, of Vinita, and numerous nieces and nephews.
His parents and a brother preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery, with Rev. Roy Miller officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Burckhalter Funeral Home.
