TICONDEROGA, N.Y. - James E. Donahue, a World War II veteran who earned the Bronze Star for service in Europe during the war, died Tuesday, August 24th 1982 at the Moses-Ludington Hospital in Ticonderoga, N.Y. at the age of 69.
He was a former resident of Abercrombie Street in Ticonderoga, N.Y.
He was born on March 11th 1913, the son of the late James and Mary (Downey) Donahue.
He was a retired supervisor of a riding club in Darien, Conn.
During World War II he served with the 270th Engineers Battalion.
He is survived by eight sisters, one aunt, and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements by the Wilcox and Regan Funeral Home in Ticonderoga, N.Y.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Port Henry, N.Y.
