She was born February 01, 1937 in Oliver Springs, and graduated from Oliver Springs High School in the Class of 55.
Shortly after graduation she married Willie Aiken and moved to Oak Ridge where she remained the rest of her earthly life.
Lillie was a member of Calvary Baptist Oak Ridge, where she was a longtime member of the Joy in the Morning group every Tuesday. She loved her family and friends.
Lillie had a very giving servant's heart and was always smiling, and this was seen in the 20+ years
she volunteered as a Pink Lady at Methodist Medical of Oak Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, the Rev. Willie Aiken; her parents Arthur and Edna Grant; and her brothers Buddy, Ulys and Johnny.
She is survived by her children and spouses, Rev. Tom (Paulette) Aiken, Doug (Jeannie) Aiken, and Janet (Rev. Spencer) Ledford; her 7 grandchildren, Dwight (Danielle) Aiken, Bradley (Jennifer) Aiken, Michael (Nicole) Aiken, Jennifer Aiken, Aaron (Stephanie) Ledford, Zachary Ledford, and Kelsey Ledford; her 8 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Lauren, Rylyn, Abigail, Zoe, Jackson, Riley, and Emma Lyn; and many nieces and nephews; her brother Glenn Grant; and friends.
Graveside will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Oak Ridge Memorial Gardens, 1501 Bethel Valley Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830. The Rev. Tom Aiken, Rev. Spencer Ledford, and Rev. Brad Aiken will officiate
