Glenn Edward Grant Sr., of Oak Ridge, passed away January 19, 2017.
Glenn retired from Kroger Company in 1997. Glenn and Nancy attended New York Avenue Church of Christ in Oak Ridge. He loved playing golf and enjoyed playing checkers, chess and cards with family. He was a loving husband, brother, father and friend to all and he will be sadly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Carole Grant; daughter Debra; grandchildren Jennifer Grant, Bobby Hamby and Donovan Shelton; parents Arthur and Edna Grant; brothers Buddy, Ulys and Johnny Grant; sister Lillie Aiken.
He is survived by his children Elizabeth Grant Shelton and husband Danny, Butch Grant and wife Peggy Sue, Carolyn Grant Leonard and husband Billy and Benjamin Aaron Grant and Linda Lee as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the nurses from Covenant Hospice for their care and support. Visitation will be Monday January 23rd from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Woodhaven Funeral Home, Powell, TN. Internment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN. Woodhaven Funeral is Honored to serve the Grant family. Condolences can be made at www.woodhavenfh.com
