She is preceded in death by her parents Harris and Laura Giffin, sisters Doris and Edith, brothers Chester and Raymond and her granddaughter Kimberly. She is survived by her Son Bernard Wade of Florida and Daughter Beverly Workman of Florida, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren sisters, Dora, Norma, Margaret, Pauline, and Hazel, brothers Clyde, Herman, Harvey and Gerry.
Ada was a member of Rose Hill Methodist Church in Elizabeth WV and of Pasadena Community Church in Pasadena Fl.
in her early years Ada was a Rosie the Riveter. She then attended WV Mountain State College and went on to work at the Bureau of Public Debt when they were relocated to Parkersburg, WV. After retirement she moved to Florida. She enjoyed making her famous homemade chicken noodles and rolls. She loving made baby blankets for all of her grand children and many others. At the age of 70 she joined the painting class at the Gulfport Senior Center and started painting pictures that are enjoyed by many.
All services will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Wednesday May 18th, 2016.
Visitation/Viewing from 12:30 to 2:00.
Funeral Service at 2:00pm with a Dove Release to follow.
Mausoleum Entombment at 3:00pm. Phase 4, Patio Y, Crypt 106-F .
