Delbert Clyde Giffin, 92, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born on May 4, 1924 to the late Ithamer Harris Giffin and Laura Louella Matheny Giffin. He was a former member and deacon of Green Memorial Baptist Church, Rosedale Baptist Church and current member of South Highland Baptist Church. He was a WW II veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the DAV. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Juanita Ethel Taylor Giffin; brothers Chester Giffin, Raymond Giffin; sisters Ada Mae Wade, Doris Eileen Giffin, Edith Faye Giffin Freeman.

He is survived by son John Thomas Giffin (Linda) of Malvern; daughter Peggy Ellen Giffin House (Bill) of Sherwood; grandchildren Amy Kehner (Robert), Angela Cole (Shannon), Brian Giffin, Melody Morris (Dwayne), Scott House (Callie); great grandchildren Caleb Morris, Seth Cole, Nicholas and Julia Giffin, Tyler and Sadie House; brothers Herman Giffin, Harvey Giffin, Gerald Giffin; sisters Dora Deem, Norma Thomas, Margaret Reeves, Pauline McVey, and Hazel Ray.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800 with interment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
