Hiram Adolphus McCracken 83, of the Reno community, died at St. Francis Hospital at Litchfield, 22 December 1956, Mr. McCracken was born at Reno, 21 November 1873, son of William P. and Tabitha Ellen (Armstrong) McCracken, he married 24 November 1887, at Reno to Mary Etta Kepple, and she with two sons survive, they are L. K. McCracken, of Chula Vista, California, H. Douglas McCracken, of near Reno, a son George died in 1935, also surviving are two sisters Mrs. Elvia Travis, of Greenville and Mrs. Minnie Eula Lohman, of Reno, and a brother Charles McCracken, of Greenville, his brother Alvin McCracken, who died Friday, was buried at Emporia, Kansas.
