Mrs. Tabitha Ellen McCracken, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. S. Lohman, March 8, 1929, Tabitha Ellen Armstrong was born 3 January 1849, at the old Armstrong place near Reno, a daughter, of Robert and Emilie Jane Armstrong, on August 6, 1867, she married William P. McCracken in Greenville, Surviving are six sons, John L. McCracken of Donnellson, Robert H. McCracken of Gridley, Kansas, Hiram A. McCracken and James W. McCracken of Reno, Alvin S. McCracken of Lebanon, Oregon, and C. R. McCracken of Greenville, and two daughters, Elvia E. Travis, wife of J. H. Travis, of Greenville, and Mrs. Eula Lohman of Reno. Five children preceded their mother in death. She was the last of her family.
